A day of Strawberries!

We decided picking strawberries sounded like a great idea on Friday so off we went. Allison was some short of excited!! It took us 1.5 hours to pick 9 pounds of berries. About half way AAron needed a break and called mom from the field to tell her a list of things he needed :) thankfully Hudson was in the mood for berry picking and let me bend over for awhile without having to run to the bathroom 12 times. All in all it was a great time, Allison keeps telling us we NEED more berries, but I think she just wants to go ride the tractor again.

Of course we had to have that wonderful talk about why we can't eat ALL the berries in one day, daddy even had to chime in on that conversation over Skype! She was very upset and had to tell him all about how momma was mean and would give her anymore berries. (That's the pic, with her lip poked out)

We ended up canning 7 jars of jam, which turned out a little to thin for my taste but is great as ice cream topping and for pancakes! Wish you all were close we'd share or even better, put AAron's new ice cream maker to good use and have you all over!!

Maternity Photos

Here are a few of the maternity pictures I had taken. I thought they all turned out so good! I'm really happy we decided to have them done.

Hey Everyone! I know it's been a while since we've posted, so I thought I'd do a little catch up.

Here are some of the photos we took while visiting Frank in Mississippi. I was so glad that we were able to go see him for a whole 2 weeks. We all had a blast and it was even better that we got the chance to see my family for a weekend too.

The photos of the carousel where a little extra special because we tried 4 times to go ride it! It was a beautiful all original antique carousel built in the 1800's

All the outdoors pictures where taken either at the grist mill or the lake.

The rest where of us just hanging out.

Snow Day

So we finally got enough snow to go sledding yesterday! We spent the afternoon with our neighbors ( The Carter's) and their two little boys. We all had a great time! I didn't get to sledding as much as I really wanted to, our newest little rose bud is wearing me out. I had a harder time walking back up the hill, plus ridding setting up is not as fun or fast as riding on your stomach. Allison LOVED sledding and sliding down the hill on her butt. Our neighbors boys were excited to show her how it was done and of course daddy always carried her back up. Poor Frank turned into a pack mule for the afternoon.

Here are a few pictures of our adventures.
