Christmas Tree Farm

Since today was the day after Thanksgiving we just had to go out and find the perfect Christmas tree for our little family. After what seemed to be an hour layering our clothes we pilled into the car and headed north to a farm called Santa's Woods. It was absolutely wonderful, as soon as you pulled into their drive you could see all the beautiful trees and barns. They even had a pair of Clydesdale horses pulling the hay wagon to and from the fields. Allison was so excited we ended up riding it three times, she didn't care at all to see Santa who was also there handing out candy canes. I was totally impressed with the real reindeer that were living at the farm. Poor Frank froze! He was just ready to get a tree and go but was a awesome sport and put up with the three hay rides. We ended up with a lovely 5' Douglas Fur and then to warm daddy up we went to lunch.

Even though it was in the low 20's the sun was shining and we had a great time. If we're still here next year we'll be headin back to Santa's Woods for another perfect tree and a ride with the Clydesdales.
